Tuesday Interview with cast and director
Summary Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Lola Petticrew star in A24's latest film, Tuesday, a darkly comedic fairy tale about love, death, and making the most out of every moment. Petticrew plays the eponymous protagonist, a young woman suffering from a terminal illness, while Louis-Dreyfus plays her mother, who has not come to terms with the inevitable outcome of her situation.
Screen Rant sat down for an interview with stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Lola Petticrew, as well as writer-director Daina O. Pusić. They discussed the themes of the film, and the difficulties of shooting during the pandemic, and gave a special shout-out to actor Arinzé Kene, who provides the voice of Death.
Lola, can you tell me a little about playing this very sad, physically broken character? Does that carry over between takes, do you have to be morbid and sad, or as soon as they call cut, are you like, "Alright, let's get snacks!" or something?
