Tucker Carlson shocked viewers not only by praising Elizabeth Warren's economic plan, but by slamming Republicans who he claims wouldn't dare push the same policies.
In a surprising and uncharacteristic twist, Carlson also ripped the Republican Party he usually defends.
“Republicans in Congress can’t promise to protect American industries. They wouldn’t dare to do that,” Carlson said. “It might violate some principle of Austrian economics. It might make the Koch brothers mad. It might alienate the Libertarian ideologues who to this day fund most Republican campaigns,”
But it wasn’t all praise for Warren. Carlson ripped her social policies in typical outlandish Tucker Carlson form. And just in case his viewers thought he may be ready to switch sides, Carlson assured them that’s not the case. “I just want to restate here that this is far from an endorsement of Elizabeth Warren,” Carlson said, “whom I couldn’t vote for because she’s so far out on the social issues. It would be wrong to vote for her, in my view.”
