The German tactician has been without a job since his sudden departure from the Blues in September 2022 following the takeover led by chairman Todd Boehly.Tuchel is believed to have turned down approaches from a number of clubs since as he waits for what he feels a suitable role.
With the 2022/23 Premier League season now at the half-way point, there are a number of managers who are under pressure in the English top flight and potentially close to falling out of favour with their club's hierarchy. One of them is Tottenham Hotspur's Antonio Conte, who has been heavily criticised in recent weeks following a string of inconsistent performances that saw the London club drop out of the top four and left them 14 points adrift of league leaders Arsenal. , Tuchel would be interested in taking charge of Spurs if Conte were to leave his role, despite being a former manager of one of the Lilywhites' biggest rivals.
