'If it weren’t for two former Democrat Senators, Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema, Democrats would have already blown it up.'
Monday that Senate Republicans should eliminate the filibuster to pass “America First” policies and prevent the “United Caliphate of America.” “If Republicans want to put real wins on the board for the American people, it starts with ending the Senate filibuster,” Tuberville wrote.
”I know this is controversial. But the truth is, if it weren’t for two former Democrat Senators, Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema, Democrats would have already blown it up last time they were in power. “The hard truth is that if Republicans don’t do it now, the radical Democrats will end the filibuster the moment they retake control of the Senate. Then they will immediately cement their woke agenda into law, including things like packing the Supreme Court, destroying our borders, mandating electric vehicles, and allowing abortion upTuberville goes on to state that after the filibuster is gone Republicans should address several issues, primarily election integrity and claims “massive fraud” occurred during the 2020 presidential election. The senator also said that Republicans need to act against “activists judges” and work to deport every “Islamist.”“dangerous hatred” against Muslims and ignorance around Islam. Many senators, both Democrat and Republican, question whether overturning the procedure could come back to harm either side when they are the minority party. AL.com left a message with U.S. Sen. Katie Britt, R-Ala., asking whether she supports ending the filibuster.Britt previously echoed Thune’s commentary that the votes were not there to eliminate the filibuster but has not explicitly stated what her position is on the subject.
