Kota Kinabalu: The Tuaran District Archery Training Centre under the Sabah Sports Council ‘Pelapis’ programme has been officially set up at SK Bantayan Tamparuli in Tuaran on March 27.
It is the second district centre launched by Sabah State Archery Association after Keningau and there are also two State training centres based in Tawau and Lahad Datu.

He added that Otto has also been appointed to lead the training team in the centre assisted by qualified level one coaches from the district and among them are Rizal Nasir, Rozy Bilmahruf, Lusrey Sikun and Qushairin Abdullah. Meanwhile, a total of 60 students from SK Bantayan, SK Rangalau Lama, SJK Kok Wah Telibong, SK Togop, SK Agama Suria, Sri Al-Hafidz Tuaran, SMK Sri Nangka, SMK Sungai Damit and SMK Tamparuli took part in the opening ceremony.
