Coach Mike McDaniel said on Monday that the team is designating Tagovailoa to return from IR after missing the past four games with a concussion.McDaniel said the intention was for Tagovailoa to play on Sunday, though the quarterback still has to pass concussion protocols.

Tagovalioa, 26, has had a history of head injuries and missed a part of the 2022 season after a devastating hit against the Bengals.
