Tszyu’s ‘confident’ KO prediction for Canelo-Charlo superfight as rival set to be exposed
Australia’s Tim Tszyu says Jermell Charlo is not on the same level as world boxing’s other undisputed champions and will learn that in spectacular fashion this Sunday – when he gets KO’d by Canelo Alvarez.
Asked exactly where Charlo sits compared to fellow undisputed stars like Alvarez, Terence Crawford and Devin Haney, Tszyu said: “He’s the lowest.“They’re the top guys.“To be an undisputed champion like Charlo, you have to possess something. And he’s number one in the division, has taken everyone else out.
Elsewhere, Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach is not only tipping Charlo to cause a boilover in Sunday’s blockbuster, but also to get it done via KO. “If Charlo was fighting the version of Canelo before he fought Golovkin, I would favor Canelo. But that’s not the case. This version of Canelo will not be able to handle Charlo.“Canelo needs to stay away from Charlo’s left hook.
