The Houston Chronicle has compiled a list of some popular summer camps in the area for kids of all ages whose interests range from the arts to athletics, science to Spanish language.: The YMCA offers youth summer day camps at locations across Houston, according to the organization. These four-day camps offer a mix of indoor and outdoor activities in group settings, including arts, engineering, sports and games. The organization also offers teen camps for ages 12 to 15 and overnight camp options.
