President-elect Donald Trump is poised to win a Texas county that former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton won by 60 points in 2016.
Starr County, which also favored President Joe Biden in 2020, is expected to go to Trump by about 16 percentage points in the 2024 presidential election.shows 98% of the county's population is Hispanic or Latino. Starr County has not voted for a Republican president since the late 1800s.
