President Donald Trump underwent a partial physical examination at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Saturday, according to the White House
The White House issued a broad statement then saying the president was “in very good health,” but few details about the 73-year-old’s health were released.In 2018, then-physician Rear Adm. Ronny Jackson praised Trump’s health during a White House briefing, saying he was in “excellent health” and could “live to be 200 years old.”
Jackson also said that he wanted Trump, who was then 6 foot 3 and 239 pounds, to lose “10 to 15 pounds.” Jackson was later nominated by Trump to lead the Department of Veterans Affairs, but withdrew following a Pentagon investigation into allegations he gave out unprescribed sleeping pills and crashed a government vehicle after drinking.
