"Now suddenly right after a damning new leak showing his support for a nationwide abortion ban, Vance is backing off a debate against vice president Harris, who has spent the last two years prosecuting the case on behalf of reproductive freedom. The timing is a disaster too - the positive result coinciding with another Democrat urging him to go.
"He is just really sorry he couldn't be with us and obviously we share that disappointment," she said. "He felt okay for his first event of the day, but given that he was not feeling better, point of care testing for COVID-19 was conducted, and the results were positive for the COVID-19 virus. The president was due to deliver an address on the final day of UnidosUS annual conference in Las Vegas later today.
