Several Trump supporters spoke to Newsweek outside Trump Tower just moments after he addressed the press.
Protesters stationed outside Manhattan's Trump Tower warned of a 'civil war' and compared Donald Trump to Jesus as they rallied in support of him on Friday.'I believe these far radical left are trying to start a civil war,' one man wearing a Make America Great Again hat told Newsweek. He and a group of others were set up across the street from Trump's New York skyscraper as the former president addressed reporters inside the building.
He said that the judge had limited the potential testimony from one of the expert witnesses his attorneys wanted to call and that the one summary witness they did call to the stand, Robert Costello, was 'crucified' by prosecutors. The presumptive Republican nominee for president also said that the court was 'in total conjunction with the White House and the DOJ' and blamed his conviction on 'Biden and his people.
