Trump to skip key Iowa cattle call after blast at Republican governor
This is not the first significant cattle call event in Iowa that Donald Trump skipped in the 2024 cycle.Trump, 77, held a rally in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on July 7 and zinged Reynolds on Monday in response to reports of her warming up to DeSantis, his chief foe.
“I opened up the Governor position for Kim Reynolds, & when she fell behind, I ENDORSED her, did big Rallies, & she won. Now, she wants to remain ‘NEUTRAL.’ I don’t invite her to events! DeSanctus down 45 points!” Trump Reynolds has remained neutral in the GOP primary contest thus far and has attended a mélange of events with various contenders, including Trump.
