Former President Donald Trump’s campaign on Monday filed a Federal Election Commission complaint claiming Vice President Kamala Harris illegally accepted contributions from the British Labour Party.
The complaint follows Sofia Patel, head of operations for the Labour Party, posting on LinkedIn that the group wasnearly 100 members to U.S. swing states to campaign for Harris. The vice president’s campaign violated federal law by welcoming staff members, according to Lawkowski. There is reason to believe that foreign nationals are exercising direction and control over elements of the Harris campaign,” the complaint continues.
