Hundreds of Donald Trump supporters, many traveling from across the country, gathered in Washington, D.C. for a 'Make America Great Again' rally, enduring long lines, harsh weather, and hours of waiting to celebrate the president-elect's second term.

Supporters of Donald Trump gathered in Washington, D.C. this weekend to celebrate his second victory, enduring long drives, waiting in lines for hours, and facing challenging winter weather. Fox News Digital spoke to numerous Trump supporters who converged on and around the Capital One arena for the ' Make America Great Again ' rally hosted by the president-elect on Sunday night. The free event served as a victory lap for both Trump and his devoted fans.

Rally-goers traveled from all over the country, with few hailing from the D.C. area. However, their commitment was tested by intermittent rain, sleet, and snow that accompanied plummeting temperatures. Mayor Muriel Bowser even activated a city-wide hypothermia alert. Lines snaked around city blocks and stretched for miles through 10-foot fencing erected to secure roads and enhance security. Attendees reported wait times exceeding three hours. One Indiana man, who drove to Washington for the rally, recounted camping out at 10 p.m. Saturday night before the Sunday afternoon event. He expressed no regrets about his decision, highlighting his prime standing position near the stage. He estimated that around 100 others had also opted to camp out, exemplifying a strong sense of camaraderie and dedication among the attendees. Despite the event being held indoors, the immense lines, stretching as far as the eye could see, subjected all but a few donors and VIPs to enduring hours in the biting winter cold. None of the supporters interviewed expressed any remorse for the cold they endured, even those who waited for nearly nine hours to enter. 'I'm just happy to be here,' remarked one woman alongside her partner, among the last admitted, six hours after the doors opened to the public. The speech marked Trump's first appearance in D.C. since January 6, 2021. The program featured a diverse lineup of performers: 'Girls Gone Bible,' two women who led a lengthy prayer for Trump; Kid Rock, who delivered a boisterous musical performance; Stephen Miller, who offered policy-centric remarks; UFC President and CEO Dana White, whose passionate speech ignited the crowd; and Donald Trump Jr., whose children led the rally-goers in the Pledge of Allegiance before Trump took the stage. If crowd size is to be considered an indicator of success, as Trump frequently seems to believe, then his second term appears poised for widespread approval from his base. 'I'd do it again,' one Florida woman told Fox News Digital regarding the lines, crowds, and stamina required throughout the hours-long rally. 'I have no regrets.
