An over-the-top gala in Palm Beach planned for Saturday hopes to boost the former president’s lagging fundraising numbers.

The President’s re-election campaign ended March with $192 million on hand compared to $93 million for Trump, who faces skyrocketing bills in his civil and criminal trials. According to a recent analysis from The New York Times, Trump has spent more than $100 million on legal costs since his presidency ended in 2021.

'Our campaign, working together with the RNC, has been steadily ramping up our fundraising efforts, and our March numbers are a testament to the overwhelming support for President Trump by voters all across the spectrum,' said campaign senior advisor Susie Wiles of last month's fundraising numbers.
