Former White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney says it is almost like the Democrats “want” Donald Trump to be the Republican nominee as his trial date has been scheduled the day before ‘Super Tuesday’. “They certainly are giving him fuel to make the case that this is politically motivated,” Mr Mulvaney told Sky News Australia. “If you wanted Donald Trump to win … the Republican primary, you’d be doing exactly what the Democrat Department of Justice and the Democrat district attorneys are doing.”
