Trump rips Fox News, calls host Chris Wallace 'Mike Wallace wannabe,' says he's 'worse than sleepy eyes Chuck Todd'

Last month, the president complained about Democrats being featured guests on the network and predicted that such coverage signaled the"beginning of the end" for Fox News. He also attacked Wallace by insisting he should be on"Fake News CNN or MSDNC."at the time by saying that the criticism merely indicates he's doing his job.
The president has faced significant criticism from his critics over his handling of the coronavirus pandemic, with some accusing him of downplaying the outbreak in the early stages. Trump spent the first month of the coronavirus outbreak insisting that the U.S. had the situation under control. On February 2, he promoted his administration's move to temporarily ban entry into America from China."We pretty much shut it down coming in from China," he said, before then claiming less than two weeks later that"in April, supposedly [the coronavirus] dies with the hotter weather.
In recent weeks, the president has stepped up his response."I've always known this is a real—this is a pandemic. I felt it was a pandemic long before it was called a pandemic," he said at a coronavirus briefing earlier this month.
