SAN DIEGO – President Donald J. Trump was indicted for a third time, the latest related to his alleged attempts to “overturn” the 2020 election. Trump is being targeted for his speech claiming the election was not fair.As a result of the indictment, Trump has received subpoena power, allowing him to demand any and all evidence related to his charges.
Tuesday evening, Trump announced on TRUTH Social that the January 6th Committee destroyed all their records. Trump blasted their behavior for being a “flagrant violation of the law. THey have had so much to hide, and now that I have subpoena power, they didn’t want to get caught.” Calling it an “egregious criminal act & blatant disregard of the law!”
Wednesday morning Trump followed up with a shorter post in all-caps that reads, “THE JANUARY 6 UNSELECT COMMITTEE EXTINGUISHED AND DESTROYED ALL “EVIDENCE” & RECORDS. CRIMINALS!” Chairman of Reform California, Carl DeMaio, discussed the alleged destruction of records with KUSI’s Paul Rudy on Good Morning San Diego.
