President Donald Trump on Monday recommended that the late Sen. Lindsey Graham’s sister serve as interim senator for South Carolina.
“I recommended, to Governor Henry McMaster, Lindsey Graham’s wonderful sister, Darline, to serve as interim Senator from the Great State of South Carolina,” he wrote on TRUTH Social. “This would be a fabulous tribute to Lindsey, who loved her dearly! ” Over the weekend, it was announced by Graham’s office that the 71-year-old senator unexpectedly died.in order to honor Graham.
"In honor of the remarkable life and achievements of Senator Lindsey Graham, a dear friend of mine, and a truly great man, who achieved so much for our Country, and his beloved Home State of South Carolina, I am ordering all American Flags throughout the United States lowered to Half Mast until Saturday evening at 6 P.M.," he wrote on TRUTH Social.
