President-elect Donald Trump announced his nomination for transportation secretary on Monday.
President-elect Donald Trump on Monday announced he is nominating former Wisconsin Representative Sean Duffy to be transportation secretary.Duffy is the co-host of Fox Business' The Bottom Line and a former cast member on a season of The Real World.'I am pleased to announce that former Congressman Sean Duffy, from the Great State of Wisconsin, is nominated to serve as the Secretary of Transportation,' Trump said in a statement posted on Truth Social.
'Sean has been a tremendous and well-liked public servant, starting his career as a District Attorney for Ashland, Wisconsin, and later elected to the U.S. House of Representatives for Wisconsin's 7th Congressional District.'Trump went on to praise Duffy's tenure in Congress and said he 'will prioritize Excellence, Competence, Competitiveness and Beauty when rebuilding America's highways, tunnels, bridges and airports.'Duffy is Trump's latest Cabinet pick.
