Former Washington Republican congressional candidate Joe Kent has been nominated by President Donald Trump to be the next director of the National Counter Terrorism Center. Kent previously served as a soldier, Green Beret, and CIA Officer, and lost his bid for Congress in 2022 to Democrat Marie Gluesenkamp Perez.
