Fresh off the debate stage, former President Donald Trump visited southern Arizona on Sept. 12.
Trump delivered remarks on the economy, housing, and more issues he says the country is facing while at the Linda Ronstadt Music Hall.Thursday marks Trump's third visit to the Grand Canyon State since June.The line for the event started forming the night before. It ended up stretching around the corner and out of sight.The Linda Ronstadt Music Hall has a little more than 2,200 seats, and it was at capacity."Yeah, first time," a supporter said about attending their first rally.
We have nice Republicans giving us some water. The babies are staying hydrated. People giving shade and stuff. So it’s great."Trump protesters in Tucson were few and far between."He is convicted. He obstructed justice on January 6," a protestor said. "All the lies, conspiracy lies that spread. It’s a no-brainer."Mostly, the supporters want a better economy and tougher immigration laws. They think Trump is the man to deliver.
