When he was informed of Monday's sell-off, the president known for closely tracking the markets replied, "I don't think about it." "I’m confident that in a month, we will deliver results for both his people and Mexico," Sheinbaum said. "In addition, Canada is making new commitments to appoint a Fentanyl Czar, we will list cartels as terrorists, ensure 24/7 eyes on the border, and launch a Canada- U.S. Joint Strike Force to combat organized crime, fentanyl and money laundering. I have also signed a new intelligence directive on organized crime and fentanyl and we will be backing it with $200 million," Trudeau said in a statement.
"And China hopefully is going to stop sending us fentanyl and if they’re not, the tariffs are going to go substantially higher," Trump said.
