Former President Trump has taken more than five times the questions on the campaign trail than rival Vice President Kamala Harris, who hasn't done any interviews or press conferences.
Former President Trump has answered at least 81 questions from reporters since Vice President Kamala Harris and Tim Walz emerged as the Democratic ticket, compared to only a handful for Harris and none for Walz. Harris hasn't taken on-record reporter questions aside from a tossed-out question about debates by an MSNBC reporter and a pair of press gaggles in Michigan and Arizona, amounting to just 14 total, Fox News Digital has found.
The difference between press access of Trump and Harris is also striking when counting the time they’ve spent answering questions. CNN'S KASIE HUNT QUESTIONS WHY HARRIS IS HOLDING CAMPAIGN EVENT ALONGSIDE BIDEN: 'FEELS UNCOMFORTABLE' Trump fielded 14 questions for 28 minutes on 'FOX & Friends' on Aug. 7 from the hosts as well as voters in South Dakota, discussing Walz's selection as Harris' running mate, inflation, social security and other issues.
