Former President Donald Trump threw his support behind Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) in the 2022 U.S. Senate race in Alabama
Trump’s endorsement could prove a difference maker in the state’s contentious primary, with Brooks and Lynda Blanchard, who served as ambassador to Slovenia under Trump, both vying for the blessing of the former president.
