Trump menjalani pemeriksaan kesihatan selepas menemui beberapa anggota delegasi presiden Brazil yang melawat resortnya di Florida yang disahkan positif virus itu.
“Saya menerima pengesahan yang ujian itu adalah negatif,” kata doktor kepada presiden itu, Sean Conley dalam satu memo.Covid-19 mengorbankan sekurang-kurangnya 51 pesakit di AS dengan berjuta penduduknya bekerja dari rumah, sekolah ditutup dan kedai kehabisan barangan. Jumaat lalu, Trump mengisytiharkan darurat, sehari sebelum sekatan kemasukan selama 30 hari ke atas warganegara dari 26 negara di Kesatuan Eropah yang terletak di bawah zon bebas sempadan Kawasan Schengen berkuat kuasa.
