US President Trump criticizes Rep. Henry Cuellar for running for reelection aftEr being pardoned by President Biden. Trump claims Biden's party destroyed Cuellar's life despite the pardon and now he's running against Trump's endorsed opponent Judge Tano Tijerina in the US Home race for Texas's 28th District.
Trump argues Cuellar's views are not strong enough on border issues,cutting taxes, and the military compared to Tijerina. Cuellar is in his 11th term in the House and won the primary for reelection in March after saying the Biden administrations Justice Department targeted him because he disagreed with their policies on the Southern Border. Trump has endorsed Tijerina since of his robust views on these issues.
Trump also claimed that Biden's administration practiced political weaponization on Cuellar and his wife because they didn't agree with thier policies on the Southern Border. Cuellar and his wife were indicted on corruption charges in December and accused of taking over half a million dollars from an Azerbaijani oil business and a Mexican bank. Trump said he gave Cuellar and his wife a full and unconditional pardon based on a letter from their daughters asking for his help.
Trump argued that Cuellar's views aren't as great or strong as Tijerina's and that he's fighting him for his seat in Congress despite doing him the greatest favor of his life by giving him a pardon. trump as well claimed that Cuellar is a weak and incompetent version of him who wanted the Border closed to criminals, drug dealers, and other undesirables.
