President-elect Trump announced three special envoys on Thursday with the purpose of promoting business in Hollywood ."It is my honor to announce Jon Voight, Mel Gibson, and Sylvester Stallone , to be Special Ambassadors to a great but very troubled place, Hollywood , California," Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
Congratulations!" Gibson, 69, backed Trump in the 2024 election while also taking a swipe at Vice President Kamala Harris. The "Braveheart" star was asked about the presidential race after landing at Los Angeles International Airport."I don't think it's gonna surprise anyone who I vote for," Gibson said in video obtained by TMZ. When the cameraman mentioned Trump was a "bad guess," Gibson quipped back, "I think that's a pretty good guess.
