Trump announces release date for his new book 'Save America' ahead of 2024 election

Former President Donald Trump said his new book, 'Save America,' is now available for pre-order.

The book will hit shelves Sept. 3, which is a little more than month ahead of the 2024 presidential election .

During the shooting, 50-year-old retired fire chief Corey Comperatore was shot in the head while shielding his wife and daughter from bullets. He was later pronounced dead, authorities said. Trump, who was hit by a bullet, said agents told him they had a stretcher for him, but he refused it.
