According to China 's Xinhua News Agency, the leaders engaged in discussions spanning a range of topics, including Taiwan, trade, the Russia-Ukraine crisis, and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Trump took to his social media platform, Truth Social, to characterize the conversation as 'a very good one for both China and the U.S.A.
' He expressed optimism about resolving numerous issues collaboratively, stating, 'It is my expectation that we will solve many problems together, and starting immediately.' Trump further detailed their conversation, mentioning discussions on trade imbalances, fentanyl trafficking, TikTok, and various other subjects.
