Former President Donald Trump will join Gov. Brian Kemp in Evans, Georgia Friday to discuss damage from Hurricane Helene.
The two will deliver remarks to the press at the Columbia Performing Arts Center about the devastation -- their first joint appearance since 2020.
Across the Southeast, the death toll has topped 200 and at least 33 people have died in Georgia since Helene tore a path of destruction through the state.During his trip, Trump called out Biden and Harris claiming they were doing nothing to help the community. But Kemp told reporters earlier in the day he had spoken with the president the day before and said that Biden told him to call him directly if he needed anything.blaming him for his loss to Democratic President Joe Biden. He also criticized Kemp's wife, Marty, for saying she would write in her husband's name for president in November instead of voting for the Republican nominee.
