Actor Mark Lewis Jones plays the role of Charles
BBC’s new crime drama The Reckoning has left viewers horrified as it traces the life of disgraced sex abuser Savile and focuses on his years of abuse and the impact he had on his victims.
Savile's relationship with the infirmary was said to have begun in 1960, based on a childhood friendship with Charles Hulligan. Charles’ wife Beryl was one of the many witnesses who spoke to the writer of The Reckoning during his research. Sadly, she died before the show aired.
