continues to shift as another high profile series has been knocked off the top spot by a newcomer. That would be Kevin Hart’s True Story, which has been unseated by the third season of Lost in Space, which just arrived this week. True Story has ruled the Netflix top 10 in the US for the past week or so since its debut, and it marks Kevin Hart’s foray into drama, albeit he is playing a world famous comedian in the non-comedy, so it’s notmuch of a reach for him. Kevin Hart is one of the most bankable stars in the US, so it’s no great surprise that a Netflix series starring Hart has done so well.
With its success so far, will True Story get a season 2? Well, that seems unlikely, given that Netflix has it listed as a limited series, which means at leastit was supposed to only run for this short string of episodes. True Story was seven episodes in total, and most were barely above 30 minutes. It’s kind of a chopped-up…super movie.
