The southbound lanes of Interstate 45 are closed near Interstate 20 after a dump truck crashed and spilled its load on the highway Wednesday.

About noon, Dallas County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to assist Hutchins police with a crash involving an overturned dump truck on I-45 near Langdon Road in southeastern Dallas County, the sheriff’s office said. The crash caused the truck to spill its load on the southbound lanes. The southbound lanes of I-45 near I-20 and the eastbound I-20 connector to southbound I-45 are closed because of cleanup, which could take at least two hours, the sheriff’s office said..
