The crash happened around 3 a.m. Sunday at First Coast Crossfit on Edgewood Avenue.
The owner of First Coast CrossFit said just two weeks ago, his truck was totaled while parked in the gym's lot after a driver ran a stop sign at the intersection.The crash happened around 3 a.m. Sunday at First Coast CrossFit on Edgewood Avenue.JFRD said one person was in serious condition and another was in non-life-threatening condition.The crash left behind a massive hole in the side of the gym, with bags full of bricks and debris out front.
“At first, I was definitely a little miffed, but at the end of the day, it could’ve been a lot worse," said Mattsson-Boze. “I think, overall, the construction on Edgewood should help. Having the two lane, one on each side with the center lane of parking, should help out a little bit in the future, but overall this intersection has been a little tricky for us here," said Mattsson-Boze.
