Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott talks with TV analyst troy Aikman before the Dallas Cowboys vs. the Carolina Panthers NFL football game at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina on Sunday, September 9, 2018. Former Cowboys quarterback and ESPN Monday Night Football broadcaster Troy Aikman recently joined the Musers on Sportsradio 96.7 FM/1310 The Ticket [KTCK-AM] to discuss Dallas’ matchup with Philadelphia and Dak Prescott’s interception issues.

“No matter how well you play during the year, if you get into January then you don’t play your best, you’re not going to go very far. Then they go to Jacksonville and they lose a big lead there, so those are concerning now that they can certainly get it turned around.

“With Dak, I understand with the interceptions, that has to be cleaned up. The last [interception] you would make that throw and try it on every snap and most of the time that ball is either caught or it’s not intercepted. Those kinds of things do happen, but there is an element of risk on every throw a quarterback makes and you can’t just point to the interceptions and say, ‘Well, that was a poor decision.’ Or, ‘You can’t do that.
