Here are some highlights, edited for clarity:behind their defense and Cooper Rush. Sounds like everyone is giddy about this matchup with Philadelphia, how do you size it up?“I can’t wait to watch it. We haven’t had many games like this yet this year where you really start to get excited. The implications of this game are huge. Dallas has a chance to be half a game up or they could be two and half games back if they lose.
“Had a chance to see them Week 2 and was really impressed with them, and how well they are playing. I think they’re really well-coached and it should be a fantastic matchup, both defenses are doing a lot of good things. It sounds simplistic but I think that looking at the teams and how good they are in pass defense — in a lot of ways it’s gonna come down to who can run the ball the best.”in a lot of different ways.
“Every game there’s a different approach as far as what you’re trying to stop. Knowing the way the Eagles want to run the ball, that’s gonna be the point of emphasis. They’re not, I can assure you, Dallas is not going to want Philadelphia to run the ball. They want Jalen Hurts to beat them throwing the football and that’s what all teams have wanted. That goes back to last year, that goes back to this year.
“There’s a lot at stake, it’s gonna come down to these two teams clearly in the division. Whoever wins this has a real advantage when they roll around, I don’t even know when their next matchup is between the two teams. There will be playoff implications and it starts in this game this weekend.”
