Tropical storm warnings are still in effect for parts of the Florida coast and tropical storm watches, which were already in effect for parts of Florida and South Carolina, have now been extended north along the coast from South Carolina to Sandy Hook, New Jersey. Western and northern parts of Florida are forecasted to get three to six inches of rain, with up to nine inches of rain in some areas possible, and areas along the coast could get up to four feet of storm surge.
