The low pressure area , formerly tropical depression Agaton , has already dissipated before Wednesday noon, April 13, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration
Although the LPA has already dissipated, PAGASA said scattered rain showers may still prevail over Quezon, Albay, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Sorsogon, Masbate, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Visayas in the next 24 hours. Moreover, the typhoon outside the Philippine area of responsibility with the international name “Malakas” may cause rough seas over the northern and eastern seaboards of Luzon and the eastern seaboards of Visayas and Mindanao.
“These conditions may be risky for most seacrafts. Mariners of small seacrafts are advised to remain in port or take shelter, while those operating larger vessels are advised to take precautionary measures when venturing out to sea and, if possible, avoid navigating in these conditions,” PAGASA said.
