Trinny Woodall and her daughter Lyla Elichaoff stunned at the Variety Power Of Women event on Wednesday. Trinny, 62, looked sensational in a white satin gown, while her daughter, 22, showcased her edgy style in a black halterneck maxi dress.
The mother-daughter duo posed for photos at the bash held at the Chancery Rosewood in London. Trinny has spoken out about the financial struggles that led her to starting her eponymous £180million beauty empire, Trinny London. The TV presenter appeared on Davina McCall's Begin Again podcast, detailing how she was left in a financial spiral after her ex-husband Johnny Elichaoff died by suicide in 2014.
Johnny had made 'terrible investments' in oil, leaving Trinny with debts of £300,000, despite being divorced. Trinny was forced to enter a high court battle, after creditors pursued her for the sum.
However, a judge ruled to clear the debts in late 2016, stating the case had 'no merit'. Trinny has spoken about how she managed with the pressure and navigated the financial issues, saying she was forced to 'bootstrapped' her business and even had to rent out her house to make ends meet.
She has credited her determination to start Trinny London with saving her from financial ruin, saying 'when we have ideas inside our head, they're safe... we can live the fantasy of them'. The pair arrived at the bash held at the Chancery Rosewood in London, where Trinny showed off her amazing figure in the long sleeved number which boasted a long pleated mesh skirt.
The entrepreneur added a pop of colour to the ensemble as she elevated her frame in a pair of yellow stilettos and toted a silver metallic handbag. Styling her long tresses in voluminous waves, Trinny wore a radiant palette of makeup as she posed for photos.
