LEGAZPI CiTY — A tricycle driver was shot and killed on Wednesday night , by unidentified assailants in Nabua town in Camarines Sur province.

Colonel Julius Caesar Domingo, chief of Camarines Sur police, said in a report Thursday that while Ronnie Ibo, 47, was standing beside the road, the two unidentified men suddenly appeared and shot him several times in Barangay La Opinion at 7:20 p.m.He died while being taken to a hospital from gunshot wounds in different parts of his body.

The police conducted a dragnet operation for possible aprehension and identification of the suspects, who immediately escaped after the incident.
