The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo again will get into the spirit of Halloween this fall with the return of the Trick-or-Treat Fest in October.

Visitors to the fest are encouraged to wear costumes. There will be meet-and-greets with costumed characters and 20 trick-or-treat stations, zoo officials said. The first 800 guests each day receive a complimentary trick or treat bag.

A Monster Mash Dance Party at the Zoo’s amphitheater, an add-on ticketed event, includes unlimited train rides on the Pumpkin Express and the Circle of Wildlife Carousel. There will be custom-made, larger-than-life animal displays constructed from natural materials. Trick-or-Treat Fest will have timed ticketing and tickets are limited, so the zoo is encouraging visitors to purchase tickets in advance. Visitors must adhere to the time selected.

Tickets for Trick-or-Treat Fest, which include general admission to the zoo, are $19.95 for non-members and $9.95 for members. Children under 2 enter free. Tickets are available atNote to readers: if you purchase something through one of our affiliate links we may earn a commission.
