Tributes have been left to remember loved ones in Hyndburn who have recently passed away. Announcing the death of a family member has been a time-honoured tradition for family and loved ones. Margaret Carr, of Accrington, died peacefully at Royal Blackburn Hospital on Thursday, October 12, aged 78. Her funeral service was held on Friday, October 27 at Accrington Crematorium.

Margaret will be remembered by many who met her during the 20 years she and Arthur spent working as publicans and their time at The Castle in Accrington and The Alma Inn in Baxenden in the 1980s and 1990s. Graham was the devoted husband to Brenda, father to Mark, Philip and stepdaughter Carole, grandfather to Clint, Connor, Matthew, Mia-Faye, great grandfather to Mason, Reece and Macie. The funeral will take place on Thursday, November 2 at Accrington Crematorium at 10.20am,

He was a wages clerk at Blackburn with Darwen Council. His hobbies included football, cricket and walking.
