Tributes have been paid to a ‘true gentleman’ who died in a ‘tragic accident’ while climbing Ben Nevis.
Rob Brown, who lived in Fort William, was killed in a fall on the North Face of the UK’s highest mountain in Scotland.They want Rob’s loved ones to know his death was ‘quick and painless’.
Members of Lochaber Mountain Rescue helped to recover Rob’s body and belongings from the mountain on Friday. ‘Anyone that knows Rob knows he is experienced, calm, confident and not a risk-taker on the hill and Friday was no different.The young man was ‘experienced, calm, confident and not a risk-taker’
The social media post was inundated with comments from people who knew Rob, who ran a guiding business and was originally from Cambridge.
