Tributes are pouring in from thousands of people across Yorkshire as they mourn the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
Labour MP for Leeds East Richard Burgon said: "Losing a much-loved family member is one of the most difficult moments we face in our lives. I send my deepest sympathies and condolences to the family and friends of the Queen for their loss. May their memories and their love help them find comfort at this difficult time."
"Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II had a strong association and connection with Leeds and left a lasting legacy on the city and its communities during her memorable visits and occasions, which crossed different decades and generations. Nicola Adams MBE has been among the Yorkshire celebrities to pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth. She wrote on Twitter: "I am deeply saddened to hear that the Queen has passed away, I will never forget how happy I was receiving my MBE From her majesty the Queen after I won my gold medal at the London 2012 Olympics."
Christine Cornforth commented on Facebook: "May you rest in peace. Thinking about you all at this sad time we have had a good Queen. l have known the Queen all my life, she was so caring and loving."
