Scottish Premiership side Ross County led the tributes to their former midfielder.
Tributes have been paid to former Partick Thistle midfielder Adam Strachan after he was found dead aged 35 yesterday.
After being released from prison in 2013, Adam went on to represent Glenafton Athletic, BSC Glasgow and East Kilbride.A statement said: "Ross County are sad to learn of the passing of former player Adam Strachan. Glenafton Athletic posted: "Everyone at Glenafton Athletic was saddened to hear about the tragic passing of Adam Strachan.
A friend of Adam's said: "Rest in peace Adam Strachan. I will never forget you mate. You made me laugh, cry and just enjoy life. You weren’t a angel but god so many people loved you and will never forget you mate and a mean that. Rest easy tripod." He said: "I can’t change how people think about me. They’ll have read the papers and seen all the stories – I can’t change that.
