Carol Fisher tragically died after being hit by a double-decker bus
Family and friends have paid tribute to a retired nurse who tragically died after being hit by a double-decker bus.
The 81-year-old, a retired auxiliary nurse at Fulwood Hall Hospital, was well-known and loved by her local community, Lancs Live reports. In a tribute, her family described her as a "much-loved Mum, Nan, Sister and a great friend to many".They added: "Carol was a retired auxiliary nurse at Fulwood Hall Hospital. She attended Fulwood Free Methodist Church and enjoyed helping out at a children's ministry and volunteering at a local charity shop in Fulwood.
"The news of Carol's tragic death has been devasting and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.”
