Tributes have been paid to former Paris Saint-Germain and Cameroon star Modeste M’Bami, who died from a heart attack at the age of 40.M’Bami passed away at the age of 40 following a heart attack“Paris Saint-Germain is in mourning. Modeste M’Bami has passed away at the age of 40 after suffering a heart attack,” the club said.

“PSG offers heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones.”He then went on to play for the likes of Marseille, Almeira and Le Harve, before retiring in 2015.The midfielder also played 37 times for Cameroon, winning a gold medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.Sharing a picture of M’Bami on Instagram, he wrote: “Such sad news. RIP Modeste M’Bami.”
