CLEVELAND, Ohio - The trial for the 20-year-old accused of fatally shooting a man at an RTA bus stop on Public Square , is scheduled to begin in Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas Wednesday.Maurice Thompson has pleaded not guilty to the charges of aggravated murder, murder, felonious assault, aggravated robbery, and robbery for the death of Juan Rampon Ruiz Lopez , 36, of Cleveland.
EMS transported Lopez to MetroHealth Medical Center where he died from his injuries on March 25, 2024.
